Elizabeth Reaser has a career as an American film, TV and stage actor. Her most well-known roles include The Twilight Saga (film), Greys Anatomy (series) as well as True Detective. The actress submitted a video of herself to producers that included her acting, and an additional tape of her training in MMA. Producers asked her to send a swordfighting video. On the next day Jessica sent the video. Jessica was able to gone through the script before recording her first weapons lesson. Jonathan Glassner says that her stunt team were surprised with how she performed in the initial lesson. This was her first US important role since she has previously appeared in Australian films. The film capitalizes on her passion for action with her mixed horses, martial arts weapons, as well as athletic abilities enabling her to perform stunts and thoroughly play the role of a strong woman. In Australia she learned muay Thai along with boxing. While on set shooting Season 4, Jake Stormoen was greeted by a dog that was wandering around the scene. This dog was actually one of the stray puppies that was living on a set. Jessica was the foster mom to two pups.
